Kamo Kidzone After School Care

Kamo Kidzone After School Care Programme
has been established to provide quality care for children from the Kamo Community.

Kidzone operates between the hours of 3.00pm to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday in the school hall.

Kidzone provides a professional service, which will give your child a safe, secure environment to enjoy whilst in our care.

The programme starts the afternoon off with all the children coming to say they have arrived. This is a special part of the day as the children share their day’s experiences with the staff and spend this time just chatting and catching up.

At 3.15pm afternoon tea is served by the children.

Games are organised outside for those who wish to participate and arts and crafts for those who wish to stay indoors. We are very flexible with our programme as the children have been in a structured environment all day and some just wish to “chill out”.

Kidzone provides varied and organised activities each day.

The programme operates on a ratio of 1:10 as required by MSD

The children are served afternoon tea as children are particularly hungry after school.  This includes seasonal fruit each day and on alternative days one of the following sandwiches, spaghetti buns, fresh buns, sausage rolls, pizza, cheerios, etc. Each day we alternate with biscuits, scones, muffins or  baking, made as part of the programme.

Please advise if there is any food you would prefer your child not to have.

The completion of an enrolment form is necessary before a child can join the programme.
